Good morning mighty men of valor,
Last night most of the sports world watched the 2 remaining NFL Teams put their "valor" on the line.
Yes, only a game, but the reason they became football professionals, whether players, coaches, owners or staff. This Game.
The reason they plan, practice and play.
To display valor.... To win the game... THIS GAME.
I often wonder if I display valor that my Lord could actually recognize... how 'bout you.
I wonder what the Lord sees as valor?
And does He see it in me?
Webster defines valor as "strength of mind or spirit that enables a person to encounter danger with firmness : personal bravery".
The origin of the word refers to "having worth, worthiness, to be in good health, robust and to have legal authority".
I would say real valor is to display courage in performing righteousness as a disciple of Christ in all we encounter, especially in our work, mission and purpose.
To win the game, we are called to play.
Christ was called to sacrifice all.
What game are you... am I... called to play?
Think about it!
Valor indeed!
Strength and Honor, but Only for His Glory,
