Men's Monday Message: "Busy": Another 4-Letter Word

Good morning brothers in Christ,

Seems like winter is settling in here on Long Island and the entire northeast. 

No snow yet here but some just north of us... 

Anyway, this time of year can be really busy for many of us. 

End of Year push to meet quotas and work deadlines, get the holiday decorating and shopping done, put the patio furniture away and get the house ready for winter, attend what seems to be dozens of holiday/end-of-year parties and gatherings, sing in the church choir, etc., etc., etc...... 

..... did I say it could be a "busy time".

Who agrees?

Be careful not to allow this "busyness" to pull you away from that which is most important.... it starts with God and living in His presence.

He knows everything on your plate and is able to bring you success in this thing called "life". 

"In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths" (Prv 3:6}

Also recall Phil 4:7, "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Jesus Christ."

It comes down to this.... If the Lord is my commander-in-chief, seeing my whole life and all twists and turns of my life, He will direct me so I succeed and be at peace.

If I do that which the Lord instructs, when he says to do them, eliminating all the wasted effort on the things that only distract and do not matter... I will fulfill all my responsibilities and live an abundant life. (John 10:10)

It starts with getting my marching orders.... my time with Him.

Let's get BUSY the right way.
