Men's Monday Message: God's Vision
So, How's your vision?
Had an eye exam lately?
Maybe the better question is, "what is before your eyes?" God stuff or world stuff?
Do we operate with only our vision or are we operating in God's Vision?
I mean, where are we going?
Sometimes I feel like the blind leading the blind.
Anyone relate?
Proverbs 29:18 says, "A man without vision will perish."
Not just get lost but perish.
In business we prepare and promote a Vision Statement to set the coordinates as to where we want to go.
Set a course.
We make sure all employees know so we all "row" in the same direction.
We then create a Mission Statement as the blueprint to set action and to activate this "vision".
But maybe we have it wrong.
Maybe it's not about our vision... our mission.
Maybe God wants us to think bigger.... bolder, broader.
Maybe God wants us to catch His vision... Get us on His mission.
I have come to the realization that the more I submit and surrender my vision and mission for His, the more I find myself walking in the things most important to me.... the real abundant life Jesus spoke of... my greatest victories... answers to my most sacred prayers.
See my friends, God has a Vision for His creation, for you and me... A Mission already set in action in Jesus, the Christ, and He is calling us to get in the boat and row with Him.
Exchange my mission and join His.... what He calls the great Co-Mission.
Seek first the kingdom of God, have His Vision and mission, and everything important to you and me will be provided. (My paraphrase of Matthew 6:33).
Think about it!
Strength and Honor, but Only for his Glory,
