Good Morning Brothers in Christ
Well, this past week was good as Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, but the work isn't complete. Continue to pray.
For me it is not about the law, but the heart of man.
Our culture dictating the selfishness of a hedonistic society, where the pursuit of pleasure... sensual self-indulgence... rules the day... To live as I WANT without consequence.
A culture that says that pleasure and the satisfaction of desires is the highest good and proper aim of human life.
Really??? .... That is not what God says and He will not be mocked!
It is His name that is above every other name!
I know, many people do not believe.... maybe have lost their faith.
Many have such a watered down belief system when it comes to the one true God their faith is completely ineffective, powerless, and fruitless. Even seems silly.
Do not be fooled, we have all been influenced to some degree.
But as John the Baptist called out to bring awareness to the condition of man, we too are to call out... to be a voice in this, our wilderness.
So I start with me. Maybe you start with you.
Lord, I want to be influenced by You, nothing else,
I want to be filled with Your Spirit, not that of this world.
I want to be bold enough, wise enough, humble enough, surrendered enough to choose You on a consistent basis.
I want more of You and less, much less of me.
I must decrease so You can increase.
Help me Father be what You desire me to be.
Sorry for the soap box this morning but maybe you are feeling the same.
It is good that Roe v. Wade was overturned, but until the hearts of men yield to the King of kings and Lord or lords... well... let me start with me.
Lord, I give you my heart.
Strength and Honor, but Only for His Glory,
