Good Morning Mighty Men of God,
I pray that all the Dad's had a blessed day.
So often we fathers look back and see places where we weren't such a great dad.
For me, that is where I find my places of regret, self-disappointment, and acts of impatience and disengagement. Those times when I could have been a better dad...
... maybe you have similar places.
Sometimes we even see our mistakes in our kids, in their behavior, and it saddens us (thank you Harry Chapin's Cat in the Cradle.... "for he grew up just like me.")
Scary thought for some of us.
I have discovered that our Heavenly Father will once again come to our rescue...
... and our kids' rescue.
Just like most challenges we encounter we need to repent, surrender, pray,
and then watch His work as we thank and praise Him for another miracle.
What better time than now to pause and pray for our kids and grandkids.
Yes, He is the Good, Good Father....
the only one who is good at being a Father, not just to our kids... but a Father to us all.
Be extra kind to someone today... this week.
It doesn't take much, but it does take something!
Think about it!
