Good Monday Mighty men of Valor...
So let me ask you.... and be honest...
Do you ever think God is punishing you?You know, ever think that thing that happened or is happening must be due to my disobedience?
I find that sometimes I cannot tell if my condition is due to my bad choices, an act unpleasing to God, that thing called the "flesh", the fall, or is just an attack from the enemy of souls.
I read about the wrath of God and wonder is that what's happening. Have I finally ticked God off to the point I am experiencing His wrath?
Ever feel this way?
I must say that if it were so, well I certainly deserve it.
But it is not so!
God is not mad at me... or you, nor is He punishing you.
He is on your side.... He loves you and has done everything required to redeem you and me onto Himself... all through the person and deity of Jesus.
Take a deep breath, that's good news!
The rest of the stuff we have to deal with as Jesus said... "... in Me you will have perfect peace. In the world you will have tribulation and trials and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be full of joy]; I have overcome the world." (John 16:33 AMP)
But it is important we fully know and understand this.... FOR SURE...
God loves us and helps us and saves us. He did not come to condemn the world, but to save the world. (John12:47 ISV).
There's a good reason to praise Him!
