Good morning brothers in Christ,
Accountability is one of those words we really do not want to hear about nor be subject to.
Fact is, it is so overused in our society I wonder if we fully understand its value.
All throughout the New Testament Jesus modeled what accountability was and He called us to be accountable.... to Him and to ourselves.
He provided an amazing mixture of mercy and grace and yet never let anyone slide... "Go and sin no more."
He made clear His expectation of us.
Called us to "the high call".
Called us to faith, forgiveness and favor yet holds us accountable to "pay in forward" to all we meet.... "forgive your enemies...".
Being held accountable by Christ gives us a future and a hope and keeps us on His path to freedom and truth.
Embrace His greatest call of accountability....It is what leaders do.
As the Apostle Paul said, "Come follow me as I follow Christ."
Strength and Honor, but Only for His Glory,
