Good morning mighty men in Christ.
Another Monday and another week lies before us.
Are you excited to see what you and the Lord can accomplish or are you just holding on, hoping to get through?
I would offer... your outlook depends on where you "abide".
Most translations use the meaning "to remain".
This offers an interesting choice.
In John 15 (NIV) "remain" is found 11 times in 7 verses.
Maybe this is important as it says quite clearly that if we "remain" in Christ we will be fruitful and our joy will be complete to overflowing.
Sounds good to me.
We are also told by Jesus in John 16:3, "... In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”
Key here is "in the world".
Again, an interesting choice ...
"In Christ" = Much fruit, peace and joy
"In the world" = trouble
Perhaps not that simple, but if I/we remain in Christ I know it is a better way.
Christ IS the Way.
Think about it!
