Men's Monday Message: Planting Time

Good morning Men of Valor...

Here we are... already in mid May.... Easter is behind us as we conclude celebrating Mother's Day, honoring our moms, wives and grandmas. 

Flowers and plants in bloom everywhere. 

New life all around us. 

For me, time to get the flower beds in order, set up the planters, think about the vegetable and herb garden and hope the fig tree cutting survived the winter.

I even planted 2 olive trees (what can I say, I like olives. Let's hope they'll live.)

Yes, a time for planting. A time for sowing.

But what about what we sow in others?

What if I sow more grace, mercy, forgiveness, understanding, patience, peace and love?

Galatians 6:7 says "... what a man sows, so shall he reap."

Want more peace, mercy and grace?

Check the "seeds" you're planting.

If you sow good seeds you will have a good harvest.

Peace, mercy, grace, forgiveness, understanding, love.

Now THAT would be a garden.

We could even put up those little signs in the garden to remind us. 

Think about it!
