Men's Monday Message: God Hears

Good morning men of God,
Lately, I've been thinking about prayer.... the power of prayer.... the privilege of prayer... the uniqueness of prayer.
Think about it.... most people of the world, regardless of their religion, pray.
We recognize that when we need help, and we often find ourselves in need or trouble, we pray to "God" for help and resolution.
But is this merely a learned response to trouble, a religious act, an attempt to get God's attention...anyone's attention?
For we Christians, we have been invited into a relationship with God and have been provided access by the work and sacrifice of Christ. Given perfect access via the Holy Spirit. We have an Advocate and Intercessor thru Christ.
This is good.
We can talk (pray) to God, and here's the greatest thing.... HE HEARS US!
We don't need flashy, eloquent language, as there is no requirement for such.
We do not need many words to be heard, for there is no minimum.
We do not need to be vociferous, or loud or demanding for God to notice us as He is always with you.
All we need is an honest and humble heart and a little faith (which He provided by the way).
I would say this.... the greatest thing to seek when you pray is to know that God hears.... and He does!
The rest is up to Him.
"The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much." (James 5:16 NKJV).
Think about it!
