Good morning mighty men of valor....
What if we would refer to ourselves as "humble men of God" or "surrendered men of Christ" instead?
Maybe it is not about being mighty, but all about being humble.
Let's face it.... we want might... God wants surrender.
Ja 4:10... "Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, And He will lift you up."
Matt 23:12... "And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
Ro 12:3..."do not think of yourself more highly than you ought..."
Even Christ, our model and master, humbled Himself and became obedient (Phil 2:8).
So, here we are facing a new year.... renewed commitments... renewed resolutions... renewed intentions....
Yes, let us take the time to reset... after all, if we are in Christ we are new creations.
But, for me... rather than striving for the mountain top to see above the clouds clearly, I will check out the view from a bended knee.... Think about it.
Strength (In Christ) and honor, but Only for His Glory,
