Good morning men of God,
I believe most of us take the posture that when things get tough it is time to step it up... try harder... take a wider stance.
You know... "when the going gets tough, the tough gets going".
We have to "put on our game face"... "set your face like flint"... "turn the other cheek"... "I got this".... the cliches go on.
But Matt 5:3 says that "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."
In other words, "Step Down, not up"... humble oneself... take a knee.
You see, the humble man will be blessed.
Meaning, and I love this, "to be spiritually prosperous with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation...." (Amp)
I guess it's not about our strength, our ability, our knowledge, or our work-ethic.
It's about His favor, His grace, His mercy, His hand.
In other words... "He's got this".
Think about it!
Strength and Honor, but Only for His Glory,
