Good Morning Mighty Men of Valor.... Happy Memorial Day! This is the official day when we take a pause to remember those you gave the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we enjoy. We honor those men and women this day. We often see in scripture times when a "memorial" is established... Often it is in the form of an altar and often at places where God met His people. At places where those traveling by would see these structures and remember, acknowledge and appreciate the event and, perhaps the people, as we are reminded.... the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I would offer the greatest of all memorials in the words of our Lord... "Do this in remembrance of me." Pause this day and remember, acknowledge and appreciate the One who truly set us free.
